1 General
This document specifies the physical interface dimensions and optical/electrical performances of the GPON ONU
BOSA that is applied for GPON ONU ITU-T G984.5 Class B+ compliant.
2. Product definitions
2.1 Absolute maximum rating
Absolute maximum ratings imply that no catastrophic damage will occur if the product is subjected to
these ratings for short periods, provided each limiting parameter is in isolation and all other parameters have values
within the normal performance parameters. It should not be assumed that limiting values of more than one parameter
could be applied at any one time.
2.2 Functional specifications
Electro-optical characteristics as for the items in table 2 & 3 .It should be noted that optical characteristics
specified in the IEEE802.3av shall be satisfied.
Each electrical and optical characteristics of this clause shall be measured under conditions specified in
test condition column.
